About Us

The Lake District woodland pods are an extension of the Brown Horse Inn. The Brown Horse Inn is a family business and the work of two brothers Craig Edmondson (often seen behind the bar) and Shaun Edmondson Head Chef, and winner of Pub Chef of the year 2020. The Brown Horse Inn is a popular pub in the area and a great success, the Lake District woodland pods will be able to welcome more guests to the area and the hope is it will be as successful as the thriving pub.

For our foodie guests, our head chef was awarded Pub Chef of the Year 2020 and our seasonal, locally sourced menu is sure to have something for all tastes, 7 days a week. We have a beautiful cosy restaurant or you can enjoy the whole menu in the more casual bar area. For the alfresco diner, we have a terrace and garden as well as a separate play-ground where our younger visitors can enjoy themselves.
